i carried around a zoom recorder in my pocket on tour and managed to capture some pretty amazing performances - i'd never heard woods before and just bumped into them outside their soundcheck on our night off in Dublin. they were gents and i'm enormously glad to have caught their set
also taped monotonix's set in berlin and ebony bones in munich. . . but the recordings don't do either of those shows justice. the poster for monotonix simply read "where were you when it happened?" and i was like, ppsshh lame
. . . and then limping outta there drenched in other people's sweat i saw the poster again and thought oohhhh ok i get it
