head scratchin. last day of summer. setting up the new studio at everlasting joy while the neighborhood around me is demolished before my eyes and the housing units crawl up their trellises, was there no media coverage of the shittification of this huge track of ancient crumbling beauty? the one warehouse that WAS declared a heritage site is now being gutted and hung on the hook and stuffed with a private sports centre. the construction workers brought hockey sticks today and had a game while they were on break. one of them yelled, "nice hair, bob!" as i walked by.

This past week not only did i have the pleasure of playing with Animal Collective's DEAKIN, but did impromtu sets at Against Life (torch lit at 2am in High Park's cinematic amphitheater), Elvis Monday, and an improv set with Guy Dallas and Alex Hellaluya at my bud Ronnie Cote's art opening.
